Senior Accountant Opportunity

Pro Talent is seeking a diligent Senior Accountant to join their team. If you have experience as a Senior or Part Qualified Accountant and are eager to exceed client expectations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client manager responsibilities for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

  • Preparation of proposals for new and existing clients, highlighting value-added services and expertise.

  • Preparation and reviewing of VAT returns, management accounts, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Preparation of CIS returns, Corporation Tax returns, and company secretarial services, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.

  • Reviewing work from a junior accountant prior to publishing in Xero or relevant accounting system, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

  • Acting as the go-to person for initial client queries, providing timely and effective support.

  • Providing software support for clients, including Xero and app setups/training, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.

  • Collaborating with clients to develop budgets and forecasts, providing expert guidance and support.

  • Training junior accountants and client-facing staff, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.

General Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-level client service with a focus on value addition, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet client deadlines and ensure confidentiality of sensitive data, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Act as the go-to person for client queries, providing timely and effective support.
