About the Job:

We are seeking a Young People's Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in helping young people aged 16-17 acquire essential life skills and achieve independence.

The successful candidate will provide additional supervision and support to help young people understand benefits, budgeting, cooking, tenancy management, and accessing education or training. Our young people are supported in their own self-contained apartments at a single Ofsted registered location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to young people to help them develop essential life skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality support services are delivered
  • Participate in regular key worker sessions to review progress and set goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people or applicable life experience
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (with willingness to obtain business insurance)
