Audio Secretary-Legal Professional

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Legal practice based in Kent who require an experienced secretary to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing, filing, and maintaining confidentiality of all firm's and clients' documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing in conjunction with the case management system
- To carry out daily functions such as filing, opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the practice manual
- To make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for their Principal, ensuring all meetings are booked into a conference room via the reception diary
- To provide support to other principals/secretaries as required
- To attend to clients both in person and on the telephone and provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care
- To ensure principals' time sheets are up to date
Requirements:
- Trained in Secretarial Practice
- Experience using all Microsoft products
- Trained to a high standard in word processing and audio typing
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or working in a similar professional environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, agents, and other third parties
- Professional telephone manner
