About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Professional to join our Strategic Procurement Team within the Resources Directorate at Bath & North East Somerset Council.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for advising and supporting senior management and officers on all aspects of contract management activity within the Council Directorates.

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a contract management framework, managing and governing a portfolio of corporate contracts, and driving increased value from suppliers while mitigating commercial and contractual risk.

The ideal candidate will have significant contract management experience, strong business partnering, analytical, commercial, communication, and organisational skills, and a collaborative work style.

You will be a proactive manager with a people-focussed, risk-based approach to contract management in support of council strategic objectives.
