Job Title: Assistant Manager

Join JD Group, a leading retailer in the outdoor and sports industry, as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of our stores, working closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring that sales targets are met and customer service standards are maintained.
  • Take ownership of a number of duties, including visual merchandising, stock management, and staff training and development.
  • Motivate and lead the store team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, using this information to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
