Job Description

As a Forklift Truck Driver at Bloor Homes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on and around our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Operate forklift trucks and other site equipment to transport materials, supplies, and equipment as required.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of material deliveries and storage.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as FLT operation, materials handling, and site safety.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Hold a valid FLT Licence and have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
