Pastoral Support Officer

At Prospero Teaching, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for setting and maintaining appropriate boundaries for students with additional behavioural needs, who may face complex barriers to learning.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is approximately £85.10 per day, depending on experience.
This role is full-time only, working hours of 09:00am - 15:30pm. The successful candidate will be required to hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing care and support to pupils, ensuring their safety, and addressing any challenges or concerns they may face. You will liaise effectively with staff members, parents/guardians, and external professionals to provide cohesive support.
You will be responsible for following GDPR and safeguarding protocols to maintain a safe and compliant environment. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, as is previous experience supporting children with SEN.
Please note that you must hold Right to Work in the UK and provide two professional references to be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching.
