Requirements
  • Currently studying or about to begin studying an SEN degree
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young adults with Special Needs
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
  • Patient and caring personality
  • Prior experience as a Support Worker or SEN Teaching Assistant (not essential)

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a calm and nurturing learning environment for pupils aged 3-19 years
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Learning Disabilities
  • Provide personal care and support
  • Manage behaviour and implement coping strategies
  • Work collaboratively with other TAs to support the class teacher
  • Build relationships with pupils, engaging them in activities
