Job Title: Design Technician

Location: Leeds

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum + Bonus (negotiated on experience)

Hours of work: 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday (flexible to circumstances)

The Company:

Our client is a leading product design and manufacturing business supplying structural building products to the construction industry for over 30 years. The Faades division is currently developing a range of cladding products, including screen faade external envelope of a building or structure.

The Role:

The Design Technician will be responsible for producing detailed designs and drawings to communicate the design intent with architects, engineers, and other key members of a building design team. As part of the project team, the candidate will be involved in the design and detailing of faade products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail faade products
  • Produce detailed designs and drawings
  • Communicate design intent with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager and R&D Team

Requirements:

  • Strong design and detailing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of building design and construction principles
