Cleaner Role Overview
Norse Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Ladysmith Infant School. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized storage area
- Work collaboratively with the Cleaning Supervisor to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a school or commercial setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
