About the Role

Barnardo's is seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team in Bristol. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering our missing and exploitation services, working closely with young people, families, and partner agencies to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with young people, families, and partner agencies to provide support and guidance.
  • Deliver return home interviews and assessments to identify risks and needs.
  • Develop and implement safety plans to reduce risks and promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people and families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and policies.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people and families.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
