Job Overview

The People and Culture Project Manager will manage the delivery of multiple projects and initiatives aligning the BDO People and Culture strategy. This role will work directly with diverse stakeholders, including HR leaders and professionals, supplier and vendor partners, business partners, and sponsors, to manage project timelines and ensure project goals are met within specified constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, define project scope, goals, and deliverables with project sponsors, and manage the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with global HR leaders and HR teams, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for people and culture projects.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage project budgets, and ensure project teams have necessary tools and support.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated significant experience in P&C project management and related project processes, project methodologies, project governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Technical qualifications in a Project Management discipline (PMP or similar certification is preferred).
  • Change Management Practitioner certification is an asset (Prosci, CCMP, or other).
  • Leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative, and integrity, with experience driving the best from teams located in multiple locations and time zones.
