Job Summary:The Behavioural Learning Assistant will work one-on-one with students to identify the root causes of their behavioural issues and develop strategies to address them. This may involve conducting assessments, creating individualized behaviour plans, and providing ongoing support and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to identify the root causes of behavioural issues
- Develop and implement individualized behaviour plans
- Provide ongoing support and monitoring to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop a comprehensive approach to addressing student behaviour
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, behaviour analysis, or related field
- BCaBA or BCBA certification preferred (not essential)
- Must have experience working with individuals with behavioural challenges
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
