About the Role

The Academy Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the security and upkeep of the premises. This includes ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning properly and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Head of Estates and Facilities in maintaining premises security and contents.
  2. Ensure that all lighting and heating systems are maintained and functioning correctly.
  3. Provide porterage and handyperson services as required.
  4. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including decorating, repairs, and other duties.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

A competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including paid time off and professional development opportunities.
