Job Summary

We are seeking an Operational Excellence specialist to drive business improvement, coaching, and facilitating the use of tools and techniques to deliver Continuous Improvement capability across both business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert-level knowledge in Lean Six Sigma tools, change, and project management.
  • Coaching and mentoring of others in Lean to ensure that any learning, improvements, and advancements are embedded within practices, documentation, and approaches.
  • Analyzing business KPIs and supporting their owners to continually improve, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining continual professional development to ensure new and established good practices are imported, standardized, and implemented across the business.
  • Designing, developing, and delivering activities that drive operational excellence, improving and enhancing the culture, quality, and standards.

Requirements

  • Preferably Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt accredited or experience in manufacturing operations, preferably process or production.
  • The ability to use problem-solving tools and work with stakeholders on solutions.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver training material and lead/facilitate projects.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • A hands-on approach to work.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Lean Manufacturing implementation.
  • Effective communication skills at varying levels within the broader organization.
  • People leadership skills, particularly the ability to coach/mentor and motivate individuals and teams.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
  • Project management experience and discipline.
