About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at KLONDYKE GROUP LIMITED. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, planning menus and daily specials, and managing the chef and kitchen team in the preparation of all meals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
  • Plan and manage menus, daily specials, and kitchen inventory to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Supervise and motivate the chef and kitchen team to deliver excellent results and maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting weekly stock counts to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen rotas and holiday schedules to meet service level requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to achieve exceptional customer service, sales, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Kitchen Manager in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a large team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences.
