Job Description

Job Title: Fluent Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Long-term position

Location: Welshpool area

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Welshpool area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education to students
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive learning activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to achieve educational goals

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational/childcare/care establishment
  • A calm, patient, and caring persona
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
