About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving complex issues for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd Line support for technical issues, both in-person and remotely, via MS Teams, telephone, and remote access tools.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and delivering Technology Service projects to completion.
  • Produce clear and concise documentation, including training materials, for multiple systems.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, coding, and APIs, including read, write, and debug skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation software and technologies.
  • Utilize excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, as well as experience with network troubleshooting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL, MySQL) and cloud services, including cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and experience in an ITIL-based environment.
