We are seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our close-knit care team at Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and dignity of our residents. This includes assisting with daily routines, promoting independence, and maintaining clean and safe living spaces.

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Empower Independence: Assist residents with their daily routines while encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
  • Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents' health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.

We welcome candidates who are genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with transferable skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour, plus a range of benefits including pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).
