Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.

As an Automation Engineer at Hunter Selection, you will be responsible for designing and developing efficient control systems for industrial processes.

About the Role:

  • Design and Develop Control Systems: Utilize your expertise in PLC control programming, 3-phase power electricals, and relay logic control panels to design and develop control systems that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Develop simulators for testing and debugging development work, as well as commission machines and systems.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support controls for new processes and provide technical assistance when needed.

Your Background:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of PLC control programming, 3-phase power electricals, and relay logic control panels.
  • Personal Qualities: Willingness to spend time working at site in the UK and overseas (approximately 7% of the year).
