Job Summary:

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our team. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and assembling HVAC containment systems across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working from engineering drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installation
  • Staying away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time for on-site installations
  • Providing client training and handover for installed systems
  • Conducting final inspections (Site Acceptance Testing - SAT) to ensure system functionality
  • Assembling and installing HVAC containment systems in a workshop environment
  • Testing (Factory Acceptance Testing - FAT) and mechanical assembly of systems
  • Traveling to client sites across the UK and Europe for installations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or installation in FMCG, pharma, or processing machinery
  • Installation experience with steel panels, filters, fans, or sensors onto machinery or equipment
  • Prior site installation experience is essential
  • International travel experience (valid passport required)
  • Containment experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work from drawings and communicate effectively with clients
  • Willingness to work away from home up to 30% of the time
  • Motivated and an excellent team player
  • Able to commute to the Leeds area with own transport

  • Starting salary range: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum OTE £60K
