Senior Care Manager Opportunity in Cardiff

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Manager to lead our residential care service in Cardiff. As a Senior Care Manager, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to service users by promoting a culture that aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
  • Deliver a home environment that prioritizes the well-being and quality of life of service users through person-centred planning.
  • Carry out monthly monitoring of the home and ensure action plans are in place and implemented as necessary.
  • Proactively manage the home in relation to risk and regulation performance.
  • Oversee complaints and safeguarding matters in conjunction with the responsible individual.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 - Health and Social Care
  • Considerable management experience relevant to residential care
  • Excellent skills in staff supervision and management
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team and developing good practice in a care context.
