Pulmonary Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Pulmonary Specialist to join our team in Gateshead, North East England.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our respiratory team to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing and interpreting various physiological tests, as well as collaborating with medical staff to ensure effective patient care.

• Perform and interpret spirometry, gas transfer, static lung volumes, and exhaled and nasal nitric oxide tests.
• Liaise with medical staff to discuss test results and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in pulmonary physiology and sleep medicine.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• A salary of around £34,000 - £46,000 per annum, based on experience.
