Job Title: Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in various devices, including PLCs and automation systems.
  • Log work and parts data onto our WMS system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Provide support to other technicians and shifts as needed, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Meet and enhance contract SLAs, and consistently demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Completed time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or higher in mechanical or electrical field.
  • Prior experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated warehousing is preferred.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including CMMS, and effective workload planning and prioritization abilities.
  • Open to overtime and willing to work independently and in teams.
