Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Property Risks team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for underwriting insurance risks in alignment with our business plan and personal authority to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite insurance risks in alignment with the Business Plan and personal authority to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance strategy to mitigate risk and achieve business plan targets.
  • Promote the department, division, and company brand positively to leverage brand equity effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements to meet obligations.
  • Maintain underwriting standards, instructions, and best practices to minimise risk and enhance efficiency.
  • Commercial acumen to grasp key profit drivers and maximize long-term wealth for shareholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in relevant software, including Excel and other departmental tools.
