About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Axminster. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior accountants to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts and tax returns and computations
  • Liaising with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Championing your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities
  • Carrying out technical research to provide advice to clients and the wider team

  • A competitive salary of £26,000 to £32,000 per annum

Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, or equivalent studying or part-qualified
  • Recent experience working in UK practice
  • Good working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • A team player who can also work autonomously, with a can-do, positive attitude to problem-solving
