Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a leading food waste recycling company, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan to ensure the efficient collection and conversion of edible oils and food fats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a robust weekly logistics plan in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections/deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
  • Book Third-Party haulage (where required) to achieve plans in support of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and deal with general correspondence and e-mails from customers and suppliers.
  • Manage imports and exports of product on occasion, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to work in a busy hands-on role and develop new skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
