About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at BTG Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and management accounts function for our new subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Perform accruals and journal postings, including understanding various types of postings.
  • Manage VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties and ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience in bookkeeping and management accounts, particularly with accruals and journals.
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (study support provided for further qualifications).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
  • Experience with VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
