Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

Ventro Group is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our active fire division, you will be responsible for maintaining fire systems and enhancing our reputation for service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting in accordance with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Respond to demand service calls on fire systems, ensuring compliance with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Plan and implement routine and demand call visits for your area, effectively communicating with customers to ensure a full understanding.
  • Manage and secure your own equipment stock, determining stock levels in relation to work activities and ordering stock items as needed.
  • Attend training sessions as required and identify personal training and development needs, communicating them to your manager.
  • Contribute to achieving team targets and personal goals, with weekly reporting to management and quarterly team meetings to share best practices and experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with Ventro processes and procedures at all times, maintaining a presentable image by adhering to the Ventro dress code.
  • Promote the profile of Ventro, focusing on quality assurance, service accessibility, and responsiveness, and engaging actively with key clients.
