About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Highland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting, financial, and tax advice to our services and clusters.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £47,847 - £52,325 per year, along with benefits that include a hybrid working pattern between home and our offices in Highland. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality accounting, financial, and tax advice to our services and clusters.
  • Ensure compliance with local government financial procedures and regulations.
  • Collaborate with our teams to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, reports, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of VAT and Tax.
  • Experience in Local Government financial procedures.
  • Qualified membership of a Professional Accounting body (CCAB or other).
  • HND in Accounting or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
