We are seeking a skilled Shunter Operator to join our team at StaffCo Direct. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving trailers around the yard and backing onto unloading bays using a Terberg or unit.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or Terberg licence, experience in shunting or a similar role, and knowledge of HGV safety guidelines and regulations.

As a Shunter Operator, you will work closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure trailers are moved correctly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely move trailers around the yard and back onto unloading bays.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure trailers are moved correctly and safely.
  • Operate a Terberg or unit as required.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 1 or Terberg licence.
  • Experience in shunting or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of HGV safety guidelines and regulations.

Salary: £16.19 per hour (GBP14.68 - GBP24.20), depending on the shift pattern.

Location: Burnaston.
