About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Tutoring Chemist to join our team as a Part-Time Teacher/Teaching Assistant for our Futures in STEM Chemistry programme.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching/tutoring A level Chemistry and be able to use effective teaching methods, especially electronically in a virtual environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access and succeed in Higher Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality academic tuition to students in Chemistry
  • Provide guidance and support to students through tutorial sessions
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of A level Chemistry curriculum
  • Experience of teaching/tutoring A level Chemistry
  • Ability to use Zoom/Teams etc.
  • Enhanced DBS check required
