About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmaceutical Account Growth Specialist to join our team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining existing client relationships within the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description

As a Senior Pharmaceutical Account Growth Specialist, you will:

  • Become an expert on each client's business, understanding their organizational structure, performance, business strategy, and key leadership.
  • Develop comprehensive account and territory plans to drive high retention rates, renewal uplift, and new bookings within relevant whitespace.
  • Proactively identify and capture opportunities or address risks at strategic and tactical levels.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of your client base to align product offerings and packages with client needs.
  • Collaborate with support teams internally (SDRs, Client Success, Solution Consulting, and Consulting Analytics) to drive success.
  • Partner with Citeline's Product management and Client Success teams to share feedback from client interactions and strive for continuous improvements in Citeline's offering to Biopharma companies.
Requirements

To be successful as a Senior Pharmaceutical Account Growth Specialist, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in similar roles preferred.
  • A proven track record expanding business with clients by engaging key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide value.
  • A strategic perspective, approaching each interaction from a strategic point of view and creating account plans to ensure alignment across internal teams.
  • Contracting skills, including leading contract negotiations in rapidly changing environments.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, able to demonstrate deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and speak the language of life sciences clients.
  • Consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development, and closing sales.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
