About the Role
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join its team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to develop clinical and professional skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of clinical imaging examinations at West Cornwall Hospital Penzance. You will work closely with our experienced radiography team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Clinical Imaging Service.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,999 - £40,475 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of clinical imaging examinations.
• Comply with radiation safety regulations.
• Justify radiology referrals using referral criteria and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the Radiography Team to continually improve the Clinical Imaging Service.

Requirements

Essential qualifications include DCR(R) or BSc Hons (Radiography) in Diagnostic Imaging and HCPC Registration. Previous experience of working in the NHS and Imaging Department is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience in using PACS and RIS, as well as the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
