Purpose of the RoleThis role will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with HR policies.
The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to the Finance department as required.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract on a part-time basis (15 hours/week, Monday to Friday).
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment: assist the team with recruitment administrative tasks, including job advertising and providing a point of contact for candidates.
- Policies & procedures: ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Leave management: potentially manage/register staff absences and holidays.
- Main point of contact for HR queries.
- Provide administrative support for the employee life cycle, including processing joiners and leavers, creating, and updating employee system profiles and records.
- Support the HR department with the population of letters as required.
- Coordinate employee starter and leaver process as required.
- Provide general support to the Finance department, H&S coordinator, and GDPI/GFA teams as required.

- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Experience using HR software (ideally with Workday).
- Ability to be tactful and diplomatic in confidential/sensitive situations.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
