Supporting Our Residents

At Hallhouse Care Home, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our team, working closely with colleagues to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping residents with daily activities, such as getting dressed and staying active.
  • Providing personalized care and support to each resident, following their individual care plan.
  • Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Ensuring residents feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Encouraging social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assisting residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Bringing joy and making our residents smile every day.

About You

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
  • Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,340.00 per annum, based on a 38-hour week and 51 weeks per year.

This figure does not include overtime pay, which is paid at 'time and a third.'
