Head of Statutory Provision

Omnia Foundation is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as Head of Statutory Provision. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Foundation carries out its statutory responsibilities regarding all students' Education, Health & Care Plans.
  • Work with the Head of Therapeutic Provision to ensure the social, emotional, and mental health needs of each student are being planned for.
  • Coordinate all Annual Reviews and reviews of targets where appropriate and attend/chair when necessary.
  • Support student progress conferences, recording agreed provision within the whole Foundation provision maps.
  • Assist the Head of Foundation in making applications for additional support, time, and/or specific papers for relevant examinations.
  • Attend and/or organize meetings with relevant external agencies involved with a student's provision and to feed back to staff as appropriate.
  • Undertake day-to-day coordination of students' provisions through close liaison with staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Work with teachers, hub, and pastoral staff to ensure all students' learning is of equal importance and that there are high and realistic expectations of all students.'
Requirements:
  • Hold a QTS/QTLS qualification.
  • Either hold or be willing to work towards a SENCO qualification.
  • The ability to demonstrate empathy with young people.
  • Previous experience with family liaison or in an emotional support setting.
  • A current, clean UK driving license must have been held for at least a year.
