Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in highway construction projects and drainage design and be able to prepare, review and issue design drawings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to develop their career and take on new engineering challenges. The role offers a mix of hands-on highways, drainage and infrastructure design work and providing technical support to other members of the in-house team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of highways, drainage and infrastructure projects
  • Preparation, review and issue of design drawings
  • Liaising with clients, professionals and contractors
  • Providing technical support to the team

Requirements:

  • MSc or equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Technical and computing ability to produce horizontal and vertical highways design and civil engineering design using appropriate software
  • Strong self-motivation and initiative

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
