Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our Building's team, you will be responsible for delivering projects across various sectors, including Higher Education and Science, Residential, Workspace and Warehouses, and Logistics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Prepare own discipline designs, drawings, and schedules as identified in the Project Quality Plan.
  • Plan on assigned projects.
  • Prepare/assist with the preparation of scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents, and any other reports identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects.
  • Design, manage, and prepare/assist with interpretation of ground investigation contracts.
  • Carry out other duties as identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree relating to Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Previous experience of an engineering organization.
  • Experience working on building structures projects, design, calculations, and consulting.
  • 2 years minimum post-grad experience.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal & written.
