Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team in Canterbury. As a key member of our residential property department, you will play a vital role in managing a busy workload and providing secretarial assistance to our conveyancing lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including raising solicitors' invoices and drafting contracts.
  • Undertake online searches and complete Land Registry and SDLT forms.
  • Provide administrative support to our residential conveyancing lawyers, including producing documents using our case management software.
  • Utilize your excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail, to ensure the smooth running of our conveyancing department.
  • Develop effective written and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively with our team and clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good initiative and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
