Job Title: Claims Recovery Handler
About the Role:
The Ten Percent Group is seeking a highly skilled Claims Recovery Handler to join our team. As a Claims Recovery Handler, you will be responsible for investigating claims on behalf of insurers to recover compensation related to road traffic accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process insurance claims from initial notification of the accident
- Investigate claims by gathering evidence such as police reports and CCTV footage to support liability decisions
- Update the firm's and insurers' case management systems on progress
- Liaise with relevant parties, including insurers, policyholders, and solicitors, on a regular basis
- Be the point of contact for the claim, answering calls and dealing with queries as they arise
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Prior office administration experience is beneficial
- Any prior claims experience is a bonus, but not essential, as full training can be provided
