Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults and breakdown problems, troubleshoot machinery and equipment efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety standards, safety policies, and procedures, while actively contributing to improvements.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Involve yourself in fault finding on production equipment, ensuring timely resolutions.
Requirements
  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent.
  • Experience in work on 3 phase & low voltage complex process/manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience of working with Motors/DC drives/Inverters/PLC's/PLC control systems/IT control systems.
  • Manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in HV networks advantageous but not essential.
  • The successful applicant will actively be involved in fault finding on production equipment, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • You will be professionally competent and qualified to operate safely in electrical maintenance and repairs to drives, controls, 3 phase and low voltage equipment.
  • We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will be proactive, reactive and possess a strong problem-solving ability, providing solutions and recommendations.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks/breakdowns is essential as well as carrying out root cause analysis and updating and improving documentation.
