About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Bury. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and returns, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations.
  • Prepare reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings, effectively communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work, providing guidance, and overseeing workflow to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong relationships and proactively handling queries to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines, demonstrating a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.

Requirements
  • Part-qualified with qualification on the horizon.
  • A minimum of 18 months' audit experience in practice, with a strong understanding of audit principles and procedures.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • A self-motivated and reliable individual, eager to progress and take on new challenges.
  • A strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team, with a proactive approach to professional development.
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
