About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Chesterton Lodge in Newcastle-under-Lyme. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care home, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of the care home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
• Use cleaning products effectively and safely, following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the housekeeping team to achieve our cleaning and hygiene goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow health and safety procedures and guidelines.
