Key Responsibilities:- Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming.
- Mix paint colours to match the original vehicle colour using advanced colour-matching techniques.
- Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring an even and flawless finish.
- Carry out minor bodywork repairs as required before painting.
- Inspect and polish finished paintwork to achieve a high-quality, factory-standard finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Proven experience as a Paint Technician in the automotive repair industry.
- High level knowledge of paint application processes and techniques.
- Ability to mix and match colours accurately.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Significant understanding of health and safety regulations related to painting and refinishing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in automotive painting or refinishing (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
