Security Officer

As a Security Officer at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in protecting our customers and ensuring the safety of our clients' employees, buildings, and assets. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet staff and visitors, ensuring they adhere to required security protocols
- Monitor CCTV, Access Control, and other protective systems
- Respond to incidents or fault reporting as a first-line responder
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the shift
Requirements:
- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities
- A full current driving license
- Excellent communication and awareness skills
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
- An SIA license is desirable but not essential

This role offers:
- 42 hours per week
- Days & Nights 6:00-18:00/18:00-6:00 4 on 4 off
- Competitive hourly rate
- Security and reception duties to include CCTV, Mailroom, Patrols, Gatehouse
