Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Professional. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Caia Park, Central Wrexham, and Flint.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, and effectively as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and good auditory/perceptual skills are essential for this role.

The salary for this position is £22,000 - 25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties
  • Assist Health Improvement Practitioners in delivering healthy lifestyles, weight management, and mental health remits
  • Carry out administration tasks, including ordering resources, organizing room hire, paying invoices, and booking participants on courses
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience working in health promotion/improvement
  • Demonstrable experience in health promotion and/or community development
  • Basic knowledge of some conditions that could impact upon health and wellbeing
