About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Maintenance Specialist to join our Estates Management Team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing a substantial Estate, ensuring all buildings and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and meet Health & Safety regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading NHS Trust, providing excellent benefits, including professional development opportunities and a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient maintenance plans, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of plant and equipment.
  • Work closely with the Estates Management Team to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report any issues promptly, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruption.

Requirements:

  • An engineering background or qualification.
  • Experience in building services maintenance environment.
  • Ability to safely and competently carry out work or other trades.
  • 18th Edition Awareness Training, First Aid, and COSHH Awareness.
