Community Engagement Specialist

**Job Summary**
Kent County Council's Family Hub in Folkestone and Hythe District is seeking a skilled Community Development Worker to support the delivery of family-focused services.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and families in the district by developing and expanding local Family Hub networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with partners and community organisations to strengthen local Family Hub networks.
- Designing and delivering community engagement initiatives to inform Family Hub services.
- Expanding volunteer opportunities to empower parents, carers, and young people to lead peer-to-peer groups.
The ideal candidate will possess a high level of organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working with diverse communities.
A permanent, full-time position with hybrid working available, this role requires a strong understanding of community development principles and practices.
The salary for this role is estimated at £28,500 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
