**About the Role:**

We are seeking a part-time lecturer in Science to join our team at Dundee and Angus College. As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for delivering Biology to a broad range of learners.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work, and the drive to inspire and motivate learners in their class. You will also have the opportunity to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) and receive support to achieve the necessary qualifications and professional learning required.

Salary: The estimated hourly rate is £22.07-£26.57, plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay.

About the Job:

  1. Develop and deliver current teaching materials
  2. Work within college quality systems
  3. Prepare assessment materials
  4. Support learners in the classroom and through group tutoring when required

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Ideal teaching qualification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible approach to work
